WordPress.com versus WordPress.org-The Differences

WordPress.com versus WordPress.org: What are the differences and which one should you choose?

If you’re a WP novice or new to the platform, it is crucial to know the vast differences that separate both WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

Wordpress.com versus WordPress.org

WordPress.com, powered by Automattic, is a popular blogging platform. WordPress.org refers to the (CMS) or open-source content management system software that will be expressed in this article.

Although WP.com does, in fact, use the WP.org core code, there are few similarities between the two.

While WordPress.org is free for the end-user, WP.com is for-profit. WP.com does offer a free plan, which is popular among new bloggers but lacks additional functionality and the ability to handle some technical backend details needed when launching a new website.
